This is my third challenge and I think it's becoming a lifestyle that I enjoy. Set some goals to knock em down its a great feeling, feeling good about being you, want to make sure my journey never stops.
What did you like most about the challenge?
Changing from lean n ripped to size n strength the change up was awesome, extra protein was awesome. But the weight lifting was phenomenal, Getting your technique down, so you can increase the weight, so you can feel the burn, so you can see the results, So you can feel stronger n like you can do anything.
What was the hardest thing about your challenge?
Diet. When I was on lean n ripped my mindset was strong. "Watch diet losing weight" and found that groove fairly easy. But strength n size first week couldn't eat my meal portions but would seem that as the muscle grow you need to feed them don't know if it was just me but was hungry ALOT and suddenly meal portions were getting polished off and I was wishing there was more.
What impact has the challenge had on your life?
The biggest impact apart from just feeling awesome inside and out and Lower back pain is a thing of the past. Would be what I've done this year isn't a fad that's going to wear off it's my new way of living. After looking back and seeing what I have achieved since starting this crazy ride on the 16 may I know that I can do whatever I want to do. (If I want it bad enough)
What would you say to people who are thinking of doing the challenge?
I’d say "stop thinking about it, your wasting time". The sooner you start, the sooner you can realise, that you should have done this sooner.
Anything else you would like to tell us about the challenge?
My kids now come to see me to let me know that it's lift day or run day or to show me that they can do 10 proper push up. So hey mic drop my work here is done. I'm a winner.
