question 1:
What was your reason to start the challenge?
I recently completed the January 2021 Challenge on the Get Strong program and was able to achieve a fantastic result, far beyond my expectations! For me, the January Challenge was a great platform to learn all aspects of the challenge, including navigating the nutrition plan, meal prepping, use of supplements, gaining confidence in the gym and creating an ideal routine that worked with my lifestyle as a busy mum of 3! Now, having that knowledge and experience, my weight at a place I'm happy with and a new set of goals - I'm SO ready to take it to the next level in the May Challenge! This round I'll be focusing more on building muscle & strength and am so excited to see what this body is capable of! Watch this space... :P x

What did you like most about the challenge?
I really love the structure of having complete training & nutrition plans set out for you. The plans make it so easy to stick to, and being fully customisable & tailored to your specific goals is fantastic! I also absolutely love the Max & Maxines Facebook Community, mentors & Coaches.. they've all become like a second family to me over the past two Challenges, and the support, positivity & lifelong friendships I've made has been invaluable.

What was the hardest thing about your challenge?
As a busy, working Mum to 3 teenage daughters - my life is chaos, to say the least! The hardest thing for me, has been trying to balance work, kids & home life with the time to workout but I've always said, if you want something bad enough, you'll find a way! So I did. I found meal prepping every Sunday afternoon really helps with staying organised & focused, and having the girls help out around home & with cooking dinners etc helps free up time in the evenings, so I can workout. It takes time to find that balance & figure out what works for you - but it's just routine for us now & wouldn't have it any other way.

What impact has the challenge had on your life?
It sounds cliche.. but Maxine's Challenge has 100% changed my life. Before starting the Challenges, I was overweight, had multiple health issues, was unhappy, lacked self confidence & had completely lost who I was. I finally reached the point where I decided I had enough and couldn't keep living that way.. so decided to throw everything I had into Maxine's Challenge! I committed 100% and was determined to turn my life around and be the role model my girls deserved. Today, I look back & barely recognise the woman I was then.. at 41yrs old, I'm now the happiest, healthiest, strongest & most confident I've been in my life. I'm excited to get to gym every night, love eating well and can now actually say, I love my body. Life. changing.

What would you say to people who are thinking of doing the challenge?
If you're considering doing the Challenge, there's obviously parts of your life, your body, your health that you're not happy with. I can tell you.. the Challenge will. not. dissapoint! I've tried every diet plan known to man over the past 20+years, and honestly Max/Maxine's is the ONLY thing I've found that has worked for me, has achieved incredible results and is easy to stick to and maintain long term. My advice - just DO IT. Sign up, get organised & plan ahead, set your goals, give it 100% commitment & consistency and you'll be amazed at what your body is capable of. You have a whole team of supportive Challengers, Mentors & Coaches cheering you on! 👊💥

Anything else you would like to tell us about the challenge?
Thank you again Max / Maxine's for another incredible Challenge! This was an entirely different Challenge for me.. having mastered the basics in round 1, I took all that I'd learnt, set bigger goals, trained with greater intensity.. and again achieved outstanding results far beyond expectation! I cannot thank you enough.. Maxine's is now just a way of life for me and I'm so excited to do it all again in August ❤️ x
